KZ & RV Hollandia was founded in 1882 and has 137 years race management experience and over the years Hollandia hosted many many world championships and other large events like Delta LLoyd regatta. Last year largest event was the 29er worlds. Over 200 skiffs spread over three different courses.

It is the ideal location for training. Teams from all over the world are coming to Medemblik for training purposes. Good breeze, nice waves, a good spot to train!

In the medieval town, there are some nice bars and restaurants to talk about all the mistakes you did on the water. There will be after sailing drinks, bbq or dinner. Regattacenter with all the facilities. Low prices for camping on the venue.

Lots of sailors over the world have been racing on the IJssemeer at Medemblik. No salt, flat water in a south westerly wind and steep waves in a notherly makes the IJsselmeer sometimes hard to sail but generally the IJsselmeer is splendit sailingwater and exellent for racing the Mustoskiff.

Thanks to @OvingtonBoats and @WPNSA for hosting a Musto Skiff demo day in Weymouth over the weekend. Sailors from a mix of classes had the opportunity to test ride the Musto Skiff - including a few familiar faces from the British Sailing Team! 😀

Congratulations to GBR sailor, Bill Maughan, who has taken on the GBR Chairmanship for the Musto Skiff class for the 2023 season.

Here's the final event report to close the GBR 2022 season, with Andy Tarboton sharing all the thrills, spills and pitch poles from the 2022 Musto Skiff Firecracker Open Meeting at Itchenor Sailing Club.
